Designed logo and icon for Blackslate Production. Art directed visual identity.

Inspired by the film industry, the logo and icon reflect the iconic angled shapes from traditional film clapper boards. The visual identity uses a rich mixture of grainy and reflective black surfaces as a nod to the brands combination of grit and sleekness. The black also functions well in production environments and acts as a ‘ focussing frame’ for the production house’s video content on their website.
