The brief
In 2020 a group of regional churches across the NSW Mid North Coast came together under a new name, Faith Family, alongside an early learning centre. They needed a brand that felt warm and welcoming, worked across every campus, and that staff and volunteers could actually use week to week.
The work
I created a hand-lettered script wordmark and an earthy palette of terracotta, slate and sage, with textured watercolour shapes and a soft serif, then documented it all in a style guide. From there it rolled out across everything a church touches: street and roof signage, the website, Sunday service slides, a social template library, and a full set of connect, invite, prayer and thanks cards, giving envelopes and the Growth Track guide. I worked alongside interior designer Lisa Daniel of The Design Cupboard, who carried the brand through the buildings themselves, from the welcome lounge to the history wall.
Warm enough to welcome every family, simple enough for any volunteer to use.
