The brief

Rainbow Shade needed a clear position in a cluttered, noisy shade industry. The identity had to stand apart and capture the joy of being outdoors in Australia.

The work

I designed a shade star icon, set inside the negative space of the B in Rainbow. That star carries through the whole identity, including the website, where it breaks apart into connecting tabs. Bold, bright colours grab attention and separate the product lines. Custom illustration and photography run across signage, the owner's manual, business cards and the vehicle wrap.
